Hello! My name is Miss Thrun and welcome to the art room! I have just recently taken a job as a part time art teacher teaching Pre-K all the way to 8th grade! I worked most of the weekend cleaning and organizing the space. And then spent to few days before my first class brightening it up and moving on in. Let me give you a little tour!
Below is the oh-so-important classroom rules. They are nice and large for quick reference! I also created a little reading area which is going to be prefect for reading the books I use to start some of my lessons for the younger ones.
While decorating I've realized my lack of art posters and books! I can't wait to acquire some more posters and colorful additions, can use lots more art books and videos too!
To add some whimsy and color I make some yarn pom-pom garland to hang from the ceiling. I must say its one of my favorite parts! I also glad for those giant pair of scissors I made during my student teaching. I have plans to add to the collection with a pencil, paintbrush, along with others! And then below is my attempt at a panoramic view. What do you think of the classroom?
