5th grade just finished up these awesome paper mache animals. And not a moment too soon for there are only about 2 and a half weeks of school left! Can you beleive it? i certainly can't! They got to choose their animal and then had to decide if they wanted to use realistic or fantasy colors. There was a good half and half split between the two, I had them write short reflections on their work, mostly because I was curious as to why they choose specific colors and I want them to get a little practice for next year when they start writing a little bit more on their artwork.
